Typical swarm locations
Collectors attend swarms in the older Victorian and Edwardian residential properties and mature garden trees of the town centre and seafront, along the Tay estuary foreshore saltmarsh and hawthorn scrub below the Road Bridge approach, in the parkland and woodland gardens of the larger residential properties on the town edge above the river, on the oilseed rape field margins on the Fife plateau south-west of the town, and in the older residential lane trees and garden hedgerows.
